Accommodation bookings made through Costa Brava Fincas SL are governed by the following Terms and Conditions:

1. Terms of Payment

Your contract with us will come into existence when we receive your deposit of 35% of the total accommodation cost, payable within 3 working days of taking your booking.

The balance must be paid 8 weeks before your scheduled date of arrival. We reserve the right to regard the booking as cancelled if the balance is not received by then and will be entitled to retain any deposit paid.

If the booking is made within 8 weeks of arrival full payment must be made at the time of booking and the contract between us comes into effect upon our receiving payment.

We accept payment by credit or debit card during office hours, or by bank transfer. Contact us on +34 972 829 880. Please be advised there will be an additional 1.5% bank charge made on each credit or debit card payment.

A refundable Damage Deposit may be levied subject to the property you have booked. This must be paid on arrival in resort, and will be refunded to you upon departure once it has been confirmed that there is no damage to any areas of the Property. Cleaning services not agreed in the booking contract must be paid in resort.

2. Insurance

It is a condition of booking that you have comprehensive travel insurance. Except for personal injury or death caused by our negligence we cannot accept any responsibility for medical expenses, costs of repatriation, loss or damage to possessions or any other costs, losses or damages of the kind which would be covered by a travel insurance policy.

3. Cancellations

Cancellation by You

Cancellation must be via email to: info@costabravafincas.com with request for a delivery receipt.

Cancellation of accommodation will apply from the date of receipt by us of the written cancellation notice or email. If we receive the notification of cancellation more than 56 days before arrival, only the deposit will be retained by us. Refunds on payments via credit card will incur card provider fees.

Otherwise the following cancellation charges will apply:

  • • 36-56 days before arrival 50% of the total cost will be retained.
  • • 22-35 days before arrival 75% of the total cost will be retained.
  • • 21 days or less before arrival 100% of the total cost will be retained.

These cancellation charges apply even if you are prevented from travelling to your holiday destination, or from taking your holiday, by an event of force majeure as described below. You must rely on your holiday insurance in such cases.

Cancellation by Us

In the very unlikely event that specific accommodation ceases to be available as booked and we are unable to offer you equivalent alternative accommodation we will refund you all the money paid (including the deposit) but no other compensation.

If we cancel due to non-payment of monies or other breach by you, the above charges will apply from the date of cancellation by us and we will be entitled to claim or retain the balance due.

Force Majeure

We shall have no liability to you under the contract if we are prevented from or delayed in performing our obligations by events or acts or omissions beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation failure or disruption of any transport system, flood, storm, extreme weather, volcanic activity, atmospheric conditions, fire, strikes, lock-outs,or other industrial disputes(whether involving our work force or any other party),act of God, war, terrorist activities, riot, civil commotion, or any act of government or public authority.
